Branding the next huge media agency
Sender is a boutique media agency that is small in size but big in ideas. They needed not only a logo but a look and feel for their website. Since they send beautiful work out into the world, I gave them an identity that capitalized on that but also worked to set up a visual nemonic to drive additional communication.
This carried through to organizing their visual communication to incorporate the notion of sending data, insights and results through deck design and even into the current redesign of their website which is currently in progress.
The Sender logo created a great nemonic t hat could focus creative endeavors, but what about the color palette? That was a bigger problem. Becuase of the multitude of clients they work with, it was important to find a strategy that didnt compete with brands when it came to presentations. Therefore, we went back to one of our favorite schemes which is to lead with black and white and use color as a punch for emphasis
This created for canvasses that heavily used neutrals like black and white as a backdrop and color became the contrast in which we could draw emphasis to data or insights. This is was also important because Sender prides itself on being the approachable agency so the supplementary colors should be playful and approachable. But, becuase of the vibrance, needed to be used sparingly and strategically.
